Merchandise Host/Hostess & Vendor

Note: Team members can work as early as 8:00 am and as late as 12:00 am in this position
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide exemplary service to guests and team members following SEAS Guest Service program
Positively and energetically interact with guests, while suggestively selling merchandise
Accurately process monetary transactions following proper cash handling procedures, as defined by the cash handling policies.
Stock, display and sell merchandise
Project voice to guests, announcing items and pricing while walking as a vendor
Accurately process monetary transactions following proper cash handling procedures, as defined by the cash handling policies
Consistently demonstrate courteous and professional behavior in all work aspects with team members and guests
Consistently practice safe work habits including the use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), lifting and reporting unsafe situations
Maintain organization of area including but not limited to cleanliness, proper product storage and product dating / rotation
Maintain a professional appearance that meets grooming and safety standards
Perform and complete assigned tasks from management as needed, quickly and efficiently
Requirements and Competencies:
Must stay "guest friendly" at all times
Must have excellent verbal communications skills
Must be able to lift, push and pull at least 30lbs.
Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time
Must be able to work indoors with or without air conditioning
Must be able to work outdoors with or without shade in all weather conditions
Must be comfortable interacting with large groups of people and providing excellent customer service
Must have proficient mathematical skills and be able to process monetary transactions with accuracy, specifically adept at mental math
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekdays, weekends, holidays and nights
Must be willing to comply with all SEA grooming guidelines and employment standards
Must be able to successfully complete all legal, company and department training requirements to include but not limited to passing required tests and certifications within established timeline


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
