Project Controls Engineer

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: o Work with the Purchasing Agent and other team members to develop and maintain a procurement plan as the project schedule is created; this includes buyout status reporting for fixed-price contracts. o Monitor quantity tracking, production and, as needed, schedule performances as well. o Perform productivity and unit cost analyses on construction and remediation projects where scopes of work are being self-performed by Tetra Tech craft employees. o Support the determination of work in place for accrual reporting. o Carry out monthly deliverables to clients, including resource and staff plan updates, earned value metrics, production and internal cost reporting and forecasting, etc. o Assist in providing support for project closeout activities. o Maintain a project database to track submittals, RFIs, daily reports, change notices, production tracking, etc. o Develop and maintain schedules on moderately complex projects in their entirety and portions of scope on highly complex projects. o Maintain cost and schedule baselines in accordance with the guidelines and procedures maintained within the CRL or by the contract. o Develop the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for projects during the proposal stage. o Perform critical path and float analysis of the project schedule throughout a project's lifecycle. o Identify and analyze cost and schedule trends and variances to the project baselines. o Perform in-depth budget and schedule risk analysis. o Support Project Controls employees for any project claims that relate to clients, subcontractors or supplies. o Perform project resource planning. o Prepare cost and schedule reports for staff review. o Provide change and configuration management control. o Perform cost to complete forecasting. o Perform earned value management. o Perform various other duties as assigned.   Qualifications   EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: o Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with a focus in Accounting, Economics, Business, Construction Management, Mathematics or a related field. o 4-5 years of applicable experience. o PC, Microsoft Office Suite knowledge required. o Excellent communication and math skills. o Working knowledge of Microsoft Project and/or Primavera. o Pertmaster risk analysis, Earned Value Management and database skills preferred. 10600000152

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
