Assists teacher to maintain a safe classroom environment that meets the educational, physical, emotional and personal to an individual student in a special education program.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Experience with people who are developmentally disabled, socially/emotionally disabled, and or have challenging behaviors required.
Demonstrated ability in written and oral communication in the English language as well as adequate computer skills for report writing.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds, be agile, physically pursue clients on foot, physically restrain, bend, squat, stretch, reach, push up and stand for several hours at a time.
